NEW NAILS!!

I have just done my nails again! YAY!
I decided to do summer colours, and the colours I used were Barry M's (for future reference I always use Barry M nail paints) and they were Coral and Yellow! Summery! :)

Recent Favourite Things!

Hi Everyone! My fave things at the moment are in these photos! :)
They are the Barry M Nail Effects which helped my create these nail looks, the lipstick I'm wearing in photo 1, which is an Illamasqua lipstick in "Welt" and the ring I have on in photo 2 which is from Topshop! I love it! :)

I have a post all about the Barry M Nail Effects so check that out for more information!

 Have a great day!

Barry M Nail Effects!

Finally! I have my hands of Barry M Nail Effects Paint! Everyone has been going crazy for it and it has been sold out everywhere, but I finally got one! YAY!

This was my first attempt and I think it came out looking good! I really like the abstract effect that the paint creates. The pastel lilac base colour I used was 308 Berry I/C and the nail effects was 311 in Black.
I painted my nails using the lilac colour (two coats), waited for it to dry and then painted the black over. (do not overlap the black colour)

Evaluation:

I love this nail paint and will definitely be using it for a long time! The effect looks better when you use a bright nail paint underneath. The nail effects seems thicker than the original nail colours but is still easy to brush onto the nails. It was the quickest way to get edgy nails! 10/10

Natural Eye Makeup Remover!

There is something so simple, natural and inexpensive that works wonders to remove eye makeup!
This secret ingredient is...

                                                                  OLIVE OIL!

Extra Virign Olive Oil is great for the skin and doesn't contain any of the nasty chemicals and preservatives that some removers on the market do! It is very cheap, can be purchased everywhere and works great!
It will even remove waterproof makeup in a flash and doesn't clog the pores!
Olive Oil is very versatile, and has been used for years in food and beauty. Some people swear by drinking a tablespoon of olive oil a day to keep them healthy. It also keeps the skin soft and supple.

Try removing your eye makeup with it tonight! I definitely will be!

Colourful Sunday!

This is a make-up design that I recreated yesterday (Sunday). I love how colourful this is and it was quite easy to do! I should have covered my brows though but didn't think about that until afterwards! Overall, I am proud of this look. I didn't create ths design, I found a similar image online and thought it was so artistic that I had to try it out myself! Hope you like!

Ruby and Millie Brush Set!!

This was a beautiful gift from my beautiful mother and I love it! I have never had Ruby & Millie brushes before, so I was excited to finally try them out. In this kit is a foundation brush, blusher brush, eyeshadow brush, angled eyeliner brush and lip brush. It also includes their special eyelash curlers and a powder puff.
I don't use powder puffs myself and I never used them on clients when I was studying because they aren't the most practical tools. After one use on a client, it has to be washed and sterilised and it just isn't worth the effort when you can use cotton pads to apply powder and then just throw them away!
Although this powder puff is very soft and it is nice on the cheeks ha ha.
The eyelash curlers were tricky to figure out at first but they are really good! They are my favourite so far that I have used!
The brushes have become my latest obsession, they are extremely soft and are really well made, the kind of brushes that will last years if looked after properly! The angled eyeliner brush is my favourite because it's small enough to get really close to the lash line so you don't get the white gap that is always a giveaway! Loved them, reccommend them to everyone!
