Meet Rachel!

Hi Everyone, I'm Rachel!

I decided to create a blog to share my passion of makeup and all things beauty and I think it's a great way to be creative and have fun!

I studied Artistic Makeup and Special Effects for two years in England, where I gained knowledge on every style of makeup. I am a huge fan of creativity and fell in love with makeup even more when studying. I also love fashion and anything to do with beauty; hair, makeup, skincare, eyelashes, grooming etc.

My favourite makeup company is Illamasqua just for their amazingly fabulous avant garde looks and their theme of standing out from the crowd.

Here are some looks that I have created over the years:

This was a run-through makeup look for a catwalk show that I participated in. I was inspired by a photograph that I saw online and I loved the idea of a sort of "crown" design above the eyebrow! This is my beautiful mother who sat for a looong time while I tried to get the look just as I wanted it! ha ha.

This design was done with a liquid liner and eyeshadows and is quite easy to recreate although it looks complicated, all you need is a very patient model! ha ha :)

This is a look that I am not so keen on now. I did this for halloween 2009 and at the time I loved it because it was different and lots of people commented on it, but after two years, I feel that I can recreate this look and make it better as I've progressed since this was taken. I might recreate it one day and do a before and after!

Although I do like the impact this photo gives at first glance.
